I would like to finally get around to installing a dash cam that has been sitting around in a box for months.

I would like to hard-wire it so it comes on with the ignition and that it does not take up an accessory plug.

I am pretty knowledgeable with installs requiring wiring work but it would make it easier for me if I knew which wire to jump off of. I do not want to use those janky T-taps.

My question is which hot wire can I use from the back of the fuse box and ideally not having to run a screw into the metal chassis for ground, which ground wire can I use?

This is what I did for one of my car:
Use a fuse tap to tap the fuse that comes on with ignition.
Find a existing screw for ground.

For the TSX:
I get a 12V to 5V mini USB power convertor and hid it behind the sunglasses storage area., and use a ferrule connector and jam it into the rear view mirror's power source/ground.

So something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Inverter-Converter-Regulator-Camcorder-HitCar/dp/B00U2DGJD2

And these connectors shoved into the mirror's wiring: https://www.google.com/search?q=ferrule+connectors&rlz=1C1GGRV_enUS751US751&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjuqLerqMHhAhWmT98KHZa8CDwQ_AUIDygC&biw=1920&bih=975#imgrc=_M6x3TU5uHLBWM:
