04 with about 60k miles went out.. A/c compressor blew.. Horrible experience. Got another compressor on eBay for $240 shipped. Paid a buddy $100 to put it in for me. At 107k miles now, no problems yet.

my ac failed before.. replaced it.. worked fine for 40k miles.. now its blowing hot air... dont hear my compressor kicking on... anyone here had the relay replaced and it was fixed?? or its just a freon thing?

well my ac compressor failed again today. TWICE so far..

My ac died twice on me. 1st time I replaced it with a remanufacture Honda compressor for $250 but didn't change out the condenser.. Lasted 2 years this time i got a new cheap compressor and condenser for $210 total let's see how this goes. Paid a local mechanic friend $100 to install and freon pumped.

yep.. its a year warranty on the compressor... but anyway.. i got my car back today.. blowing real cold.. boy oh boy i miss it... i had to drive the nsx around.. and that car doesn't have ac either. i will be fixing that next... i hate this 100+ degree wheather man!
good luck to all 04 owners. it failed me twice. one more time.. i'm gonna throw this car away.

REMEMBER TO CHANGE THE CONDENSER ALSO... i think it's very important to. it's not that expensive to change either.
