My 06 TSX 5AT with +145,000 miles A/C started to have intermittent warm/cool/cold spells depending on how fast you were driving. The driver side was a little warmer compared to passenger side. Acura said the O-rings were bad and I was leaking refrigerant causing low pressure. They replace the O-rings and recharged the system for $290. Waiting to see if that was a fix or just a band aid.

***UPDATE****

After 2 weeks, the A/C started with the same warm/cool/cold intermittent problem like before. Back to Acura and they said the compressor was bad and pushing 4X above normal pressure and it was forcing Freon past the O-rings. They already charged me $290 and was going to credit me that price on the repair:

- $1300 aftermarket compressor (after $290 subtracted out)
- $2400 Acura compressor (after $290 subtracted out)

Decided to purchase a compressor with clutch on eBay for $130 and try my luck at a local shop when it gets in.

So far, the $130 eBay compressor+clutch is working after +2 weeks after install. Cost me another $500 for labor+parts to install on top of the $290 I wasted at Acura when they replaced the O-ring that didn't work. It cost me a little under $1000 get get everything back to normal (it has been 95-103 in ABQ in June).
