Hello Everyone, I was wondering if it’s worth it to pick up a 2004 TSX in Gray? It has 164k miles but the clear coat is peeling on the hood and roof also the interior seats are ripped. It seems to be mechanically sound other than that. The guy said he replaced the timing chain it drives great it seems like. He also said the AC compressor was replaced around 1 year ago. I was able to talk him down to 2,500. Is this a good deal? I want a reliable, cheap, and good MPG car for school.

Peeling clear coat and ripped seats is normal wear for a TSX. And the mileage is very good. With that said I would still have it checked out by a mechanic so that you don't find any expensive surprises in the future. If all checks out, 2,500 is a very good price and leaves a lot of room for any other repairs you may eventually need.

Welcome. I have that one, too. 95K miles and very reliable - a good price, in my opinion. Anyone have any help for him on the seats? Who carries/makes seat skins that might match well for him.
