Whats going on everyone.

Just got the car about 2 weeks ago, 04 Navi 6MT, 135k miles.

The car did not come with any Navi dvds. I am considering getting the newest one that is on sale for $99, but I am not sure if I can just get that disc and be good to go. Do I need to have another(previous) version loaded before I can use/install the new updated disc?

Also I have the wonderful PCB board that is toast, so no lights around the Navi. Still searching for a DIY to fix that.

Any input would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Matt

You can install the new 2012 Navi Disc and it will boot right up! It's the same disc that came with the car except it's been updated to 2012. Jump on the $99.00 Navi disc before it goes back up to $149.00! As far as your PCB board, keep searching on the internet for a simple, low cost fix! It's out there!

I am not sure about "around the navi". But here is the repair procedure for the Audio-HVAC lights being out, perhaps it shares the same board, others would know. The board for this goes for about $66. To me the toughest part would be pulling apart the dash.

Well, the site said the pdf exceeded my quota. Here is a link

Can you tell me where that $99 disc is being sold or provide a link. Thank you.

welcome.. anyways if its your pcb that is toast. just look for the DIY for center stack removal. once you get your pcb from your sources (online, dealer, etc), it should include the instruction that is simply to understand. really easy to do. did mine about 2 weeks ago. now i have all my lights back on :)
