Hey guys I don't post on here much, still trying to learn my way around and don't get much time.. But I need some help. I have an '06 AT with DC headers/Injen CAI/APEXi exhaust. Emissions light came on a while back, throwing code P1157 "Manufacturer control fuel air metering." Called the dealership and they said primary O2, So I replaced it with an NGK (NTK), cleared the code, even pulled the battery overnight, and it is still throwing the code... I really can't afford to take it into the dealership, anyone run into this problem before? Need to get it fixed ASAP, have to pass Cali emissions to renew my base stickers.. Any help is appreciated!!

Hey thanks for the reply, you are exactly right. NGK sensor was bad from the box, went and picked up a Bosch sensor because I didn't feel like waiting 3 days for NGK or OEM and CEL is gone. Hopefully the Bosch isn't a POS. CEL was gone for two whole days until my CAI somehow sucked up enough splash from freeway rain to get in my motor. Didn't hydro lock, changing the oil today and praying none of my rods are bent and compression is ok. If anyone ever asks, Injen's hydro shield is a joke...

Good to hear you at least got the CEL fixed. Hyrdolocking has always scared me. Hopefully your car is alright. Did the motor shut off on you or did it start acting funny?

It didn't hydro lock but my CEL started flashing and it felt like the rev limiter kicked in at like 2.5k. changed my oil and it sounds ok so I'm gonna drive and hope nothing internally is damaged.
