Just acquired one of these... Still on the fence about installing it. Looks great on some cars, and not so great on others. Didn't come across any pics in the thread of it on a car with the OEM trunk wing... Feel like it may be too much. Might just have to try it and see for myself.

Yeah I've got one in my garage as well. I tend to think it's overkill with the Mugen wing.

I figured that's why yours came off.
I'm also hesitant to install it because I think it will draw more unwanted attention to the fading clear coat on my roof :-/
Ah well.... It came with the kit and I got it in trade. It can sit in the garage until I either fix my clear coat problem or someone makes me an offer I can't refuse.
Funny how they're listed for $500+ on eBay right now. Maybe I should list mine :p

What about a vinyl wrap on the roof? My roof has these stupid concrete juice stains from a previous parking garage roof leaking on my roof and they will not come out with all the buffing in the world. Might do a CF wrap on the roof.

And yeah idk - I think I'd put the HIC back on if I ever acquire a 04-05 Mugen low deck spoiler. I think it'd look better with that wing than the high Mugen.

Clear coat or wrap, either way I gotta get sanding and it's $ because I don't want to learn how to wrap and I don't have the tools to polish up a new clear coat.

So thoughts on how it would look? Pre-visors shot:

All of these dark visors also call attention to my lack of window tint. Maybe I'll do that some day too 🙄

I think the rear visor looks better with window visors and especially better with a chrome delete. Have you considered painting or wrapping your chrome window trim? I used SEM Trim black paint and their XXX adhesion promoter and it's sticking wonderfully.

I got the full kit, and already installed the window visors. They would look better without the chrome trim for sure, but I installed them immediately for functionality.... My AC compressor is dead right now and it is raining off and on here. May look into that trim paint after I get the AC system back online.
