Just installed 3500k 35watt HID's in my fogs. I heard they run cooler then 55watt halogens, which is what I originally had, but touching the lenses on the fogs. They're super got. Got the HID kit from DDMTuning. Just don't want my fogs to crack again.

Sweet. did the same thing for my fogs. Also required them so I could use them by themselves without low beams (as my DRLs). Looks awesome.

I'll have to check the heat on mine next I run them. But the heat is normal. Even feel your tail lights. I've been running mine for a more than a year at least and haven't had problems.

You have no issues with your fog lens cracking over the winter? Mine cracked which is why I figured I'd change the whole fog and switch to HID's instead of Halogens.

Mine did crack, although I believe it was from stones. Happened during a road trip to San Fran I think. Plus there's a chip missing, although this does cause me to think about it... The pass side has never had trouble.

I've had HID fogs from DDMTuning and TRS, put some Lamin-x over them, had HIDs for over a year never cracked. Just got one burn mark on the inside of one of them probably from the film that came inside of the housings and they were from ebay.

Just ordered my Lamin-X. Thanks for the info. I also just realized our fogs have ridiculous glare with HID's. Not something I'm too worried about but I'm glaring the hell out of oncoming drivers. Anyone done a mod to fix this?

I believe you can adjust the angle of your fogs if you look at the assemble. You can aim them down. It might help a little

There's a screw on the side and it allows you to aim them
