Seen this in Auto Trader today. Everything I want on my car and more!! Here's the ad:

Originally built for the Executive Vice President of Honda America, Tom Elliot. Stock car sent to California based company COMPTECH (now CT Engineering) to be equipped as a high performance daily driver. Along with the supercharger, additional features installed by COMPTECH include: COMPTECH 4-2-1 stainless header, COMPTECH stainless steel high flow exhaust with polished mufflers and tips, COMPTECH front and rear sport springs, 18" Volk GT-C racing wheels, front Brembo Big Brake kit w/ 13" cross drilled rotors, rear 12.7" brake kit; both sets with stainless braided lines, COMPTECH Titanium upper strut tower brace, COMPTECH 22mm anti-roll bar, and a rare Phase One rear decklid lip. Later, I had Anthony Verma of A/V Engineering install: Hondata FlashPro, High Boost 3.2 inch pulley, Deatchswerks fuel pump, RC 650 psi fuel injectors, air/fuel mixture and supercharger boost guages, COMPTECH's auto tensioner, and continuous dyno testing and FlashPro updating. The TSX went from 221 to 275 WHP (316 HP at the crank). This 6 speed TSX has been outfitted with every option including navigation and voice commands and showcased in the 2004 SEMA show in Las Vegas and in the Feb 2006 issue of SportCompactCar magazine. It has now become a truly sophisticated sporty sleeper with an unmatched detailed history making it a very attractive collectible. It is in pristine condition and I have all the records and receipts and will come with the FlashPro unit for any additional performance upgrades you desire. I am selling the car because I now work from home and a small, "errands" type car would fit my needs better. This car should be enthusiastically driven, not sit idle being a garage queen. The car is being offered for $18,900 which is ridiculously low considering a standard 70,000 mile TSX is KBB valued over $14,000. The additional high performance parts alone is also over $14,000. Serious inquiries only. Feel free to call/email with any questions. Will consider trades.

Seen this car in person at NOPI Nationals last year. I believe the same guy has been tryign to sell it for a WHILE now. But it does seem like he has changed his mind on his price since I spoke with him last. I hope if he really wants to sell it it goes to a good home. If someone takes good care of it one day it will be worth a pretty penny.

(PS dont believe that picture. When i saw it last year it had spots of pepto pink coming through)
Someone had posted the Ebay listing on here. Def a nice TSX with cool history. Should have came SC'd from factory :naughty: :mardi:
I love that TSX
Yes, this car was listed for sale on Ebay last summer, (it seem like it was offered by a representative of the Honda exec.) So, if this is the person who bought the car from that original ad, that may be a warning sign...or maybe it just doesn't fit their needs.
When it was listed on Ebay the first time did it ever sell?
So the Executive VP of Honda can put all the Comptech stuff on his car, but we do and void the warranty?

Seems a bit contradictory to me.
My understanding from reading the original ebay ad was that this car was upgraded and then given as a gift to the Honda exec.

It was not driven much and had very few miles...(so maybe he didn't even appreciate it.) Of course, a bright red car with a 6 speed does not sound like a car most execs would prefer to drive to the golf course. (If I were an exec, I would, but I probably don't fit the profile.)

To answer the other question, it seems like this current owner bought it from ebay and has put some miles on it.
