Larch, Moroso is or was a company that made mostly goodies for Detroit-iron hotrods: valve covers, air cleaners, etc. A company like Holley, Edelbrock, Hooker (headers), etc. Apparently they sponsor car shows (not surprising).
It is a tad surprising (maybe not) that they are sponsoring events for "ricers."** I guess that means they make parts for japanese cars too, now.
**I realize ricer is a derogatory term even to those of us driving ricemobiles. As a former (and still) fan of Detroit iron, it is the term of choice for us. When I use it I don't necessarily mean foot tall spoilers, kanji characters and fartcans on a civic.

I see a 1991 Accord wagon with a similar paint job as that Civic every once and a while around here. IMO I think its interesting, but I wouldn't want to be seen driving in it.larchmont said:Y'all see that sort of violet/purple car on the right?
