Since I want to change a momo steering, the accessary retailer says they can sell me the steering wheel and hub.

but they don't do the installation...

can I install it myself?

It's fairly straight forward if you've swapped out an OEM steering wheel. While to answer your question, the steering hub is designed to disable the airbag while you put on the aftermarket steering wheel.
