For you, i would just take off the CAI and put back on the stock intake and pass smog that way. It will take you 10 min but save you $ because you won't have to pay the premium to pass it.

For CAI you can try to go and ask them if they can pass you on visual because you dont have the stock intake. Usually they will. CAI wont affect your smog test.

Regardless of what brand u have, if it doesn't have a CARB sticker it will not pass. Period.

bump. am contemplating getting an RT cat and would like to know of some places that will help me "pass" my smog test. am located in SD.

get ur smog done before u install the rt cat. otherwise, swap em out and back after the smog.
