i was cruising along the highway when a bimmer cut me off which resulted in me swervin into the concrete wall at 100 km/h smashing my front bumper and left fender, my airbags ddeployed as well on the driver seat and the curtains came down, my seat belt is locked too, i cant go to the repair shop anytime soon cause of midterms, a friend of a friend from the dealership is telling me the cost of repairs is 10,000! i dont know, i just want another estimate of the repair cost, anyone?

Bumper looks repairable (and I'd opt for a repair instead of an aftermarket one - they just don't fit 100%).
New fender, wheel, tire(?), airbags... yeah probably looking at $10K.
Just the exterior stuff incl. a refurbished wheel would be about $4K alone MIN.

Good luck man. Insurance?!

@ratephenui, dude my buddy Dave buys smashed TSXs and parts them out, get in touch with him, he will give you good prices on OEM parts, he has a nighthawk black pears TSX hes parting out now, u can get paint matched fended and he can get u all the air bags and other stuff for way less than 10K, thats just insane.....just tell Dave exactly what you need and he will be able to hook you up, just do it fast and dont sleep on this, Dave usually goes through part outs fairly fast so chances are if you wait the parts you need like the color matched fender might be gone, he can hook you up with everything and if not with everything at least with some parts, do some of the repairs yourself and cut the price of that bill in at least half. if you were located in Connecticut i would even help you do some of the repairs. and yeah like Amit said, invest in a dash cam, did you manage to sign up for the blackvue group buy???

Dave email [email protected] also check out his facebook post here

Hmmm. Not sure how getting cutoff caused you to hit wall....but next time just let the other car hit you. That way you get police report etc and insurance handles it.

Once airbags etc get deployed repairs get expensive. If you're fully covered and depending on the insurance adjuster estimate they just might salvage it.

Bright side is you can buy the car back for super cheap and still have insurance money to buy another car. Partout thread soon ??

I too was in accident & my rear passenger panel was hit along with some suspension parts, bent wheel, curtain airbags & other misc items cost was a little under 10k due to the parts for the wagon. The shop gave me estimated it the Acura specific parts are pretty expensive since there isn't much of an aftermarket for OEM wagon parts. Insurance paid for it but what PIA. No need to part out.
