Girlfriend's 2009 TSX just rolled 270K miles last week and had an issue... Driving home from work the mechanic is saying the idler pulley PART# 31140RL5A01 broke and they cannot find a replacement due to COVID shortages.... Anyone have one? Any suggestions on where to find one? Appreciate the help.... Just did a full paint correction on the car and hate to think this might be what puts the car out of commission....

Did the pulley break or did the bracket for the pulley break? The part number you gave above is for the whole assembly- bracket, pulley, etc. the part number for the pulley alone is 31190-RL5-A00 which crosses to:
Gates 36769 in the aftermarket. Might be worth a shot
