In its latest in a series of breathtaking concept vehicles, Infiniti provided an early look Thursday at what will likely become its QX30 small luxury crossover. It makes its debut next month at the Geneva Motor Show.
Infiniti says it tried to give the vehicle sleek lines of a coupe, yet the higher profile of a crossover, to its QX30 Concept.
"We wanted the spontaneous fluidity of the QX30 Concept design to cut through the urban clutter and rigidity, reflecting its go-anywhere and spur-of-the-moment nature," said Alfonso Albaisa, Infiniti's executive design director, in a statement. Though it's small, the vehicle rides on 21-inch wheels.
QX30 Concept has an aluminum-trimmed front bumper and for protection a skid plate underneath its body. There is carbon fiber in the cladding and roofbar supports for lightness.
