Hello,

when i first bought my TSX in 2006 i had found a website where a guy had put step by step instuctions on how he installed an amp on his 2006 tsx with factory navi.. i lost the site and i cant find it back i remember he was saying something about near the gear shifter that red pocket (that says not an astray lol) there are the wires for the stereo, and you have to splice 2 of the wires into an RCA wire that will goto the amp?

has anyone ever done this?

any instructions?

i really want a sub in my trunk!

thanks

Im far from a mod but im gonna say it anyways. Search, search search.

This is why I think it would have been a good idea to charge new members.

Rather than splicing into what are probably small wires anyway, you could just use a line out converter. It will convert the high level input from the rear 6x9's into an RCA jack. It's easy, requires no cutting/splicing of any wires, and is inexpensive.

Or just find an amp with a speaker level input.

I believe the LOC also requires splicing. AT least i had to tap the rear sub wires when I used one.
