Picked this up on E-Bay a couple of days ago. Going to stash it away until next year when I get my car painted. Going to do a lot of research on the club site when I do the conversion.

nice pick up.! how much did you get the package for.? assuming it is authentic.?
Did the side skirts come with the black "L" brackets, you can't buy those seperately.
It's authentic, came off a 04 JDM Honda Euro-R CL7 from Japan. Haven't recieved it yet, it's getting boxed up for shipping. Just e-mailed the seller about the L brackets. Thanks for the heads up Mayuga!

I'll be in trouble if mines is broken after my "little incident" today

No problem, and btw great pick up.
So you're the one who picked it up. I saw it on eBay too. Congrats.

You won't have to do much research to put it on. Everything is just a direct bolt on replacement of your USDM stuff. You won't need to swap fenders, hood, or rear bumpers but you will need to swap the front bumpers because fitment of the grilles is slightly different. The headlights are already HID ones so the only thing you might want to consider is swapping projectors so you'll have the correct beam cutoff.
You might want to check if the auction includes the plastic rad cover too. The Euro R one is different. If it's not included, you could always pick one up from Heeltoe or somewhere like that.
Nice pick up! Just FYI, if you want to run the full Euro-R front bumper and lip, you NEED to have the JDM bumper support bar installed in place of the USDM one.

But, since the rear lip and front lip are compatible with the USDM bumpers you can avoid that. Another thing though, the Euro-R grill doesn't fit "perfectly" on the USDM bumper. It fits but there are slight gaps.

So the choice is:
1. Full front JDM Euro-R bumper and lip with JDM support bar.
or
2. USDM front bumper with Euro-R lip and grill w/ slight gaps.

Good luck!
^ Actually, I think you only need the JDM support bar if you want to run the Spoon bumper or if you want to use J's Racing's front tow hook. I have an EDM front bumper on and I didn't need to change support bars. I'm pretty sure the EDM and JDM are the same.

Oops I stand corrected, thanks for the clarification Willy! Requiring the JDM bar was the reason that discouraged me from sourcing a '04-'05 JDM/EDM bumper, but it fit all along. :squint:
Does anyone know how to remove the grill where it joins the bumper at the bottom? I cannot seem to find any kind of fastener! Also, whats the best way to remove the front lip from the bumper where the 2-way tape is attached? Thanks for any info!

There should be four clips on the bottom of the grille that hold it to the bumper. If you don't see them, maybe they're out already. If that's the case, just gently pry the grille off. You can't just pull the grille upwards. You have to actually push it forward away from the bumper. There's a lip on the bumper that the grille grips onto. It's pretty snug even without the four clips I mentioned.

With regards to the front lip and the double sided tape, just use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm it up a bit and then gently pull the lip off. The tape is pretty high quality and should stay attached to the lip and not leave much residue on the bumper.
Thanks for the heads up Willy18! With a little prying, the grill came right off. Wanted to make sure!
Damn... I want those fenders for a better fitment! If anyone of you have everything JDM except fenders, you will know why! LOL
Most deff a nice pick up! Good Luck

What's different about the fenders?
