I'd like to thank all of the great friends I have met on this website over the last couple years. All of the helpful comments, suggestions, tips, and sharing of knowledge has been PRICELESS. I just want to give a shout out to some of the people off the top of my head in no particular order: curls, feuss2, EdmTSX, Pson, rexdale_tiger, a2004yankee, milkbone98, willy18, pjotsx, JTrue5, inkedup, CCColtsicehockey (for supercharger tips!), chinkkid11, logrus, MUGEN_CL9 (for the rare wing!) and whoever else I am forgot to list!

I also would highly recommend the vendors listed in my sig. They are very good at getting authentic Honda parts wayyyyy under MSRP and quick free shipping, especially Curry Acura! And also a shout out to Park Acura in Akron, OH especially Steve Tatar. All the folks at Park at very accommodating to my near end-less list of things to do! :tu2:

The car is largely completed in terms of major projects but there will always be little things to do and I will post updates in this thread of what I change on my car from here on out. One thing I can tell you now is that I have put Dynamat SuperLite in all the doors and boy does the car sound great. Less road noise coming in from the outside and not needing to turn my radio as loud since the cabin is more insulated. The stuff I used can be found here Dynamat SuperLite Tri-Pak Triple package — 3 sheets, 12 square feet (Model #10612) at Crutchfield.com Even though the website says 1 package will cover 2 doors, my mechanic says its more like 1 package per door. But right now it is 20% off AND I was digging online and found a coupon code for an extra $20 off if you spend $100 (which youll need to anyways if you plan to do more than 1 door at a time) The code is 3A171. Combine that with free shipping and no sales tax its quite the bargain.

Looking forward for more great years driving in the TSX (just hit 117,000 miles today!) and more years of learning and contributing to the community whatever way I can.

ps: the ohio turnpike is amazing. just drove back from michigan today after visiting family and all i have to say is 3 lanes across wide open farmland is a supercharger's ultimate dream

Congrats! I've been thinking about adding some Dynamat type stuff too. Is that stuff heavy?
The regular Dynamat is. I went with the light version. When its all said and done and you do all 4 doors, I believe it adds about 20-25 lbs to the weight of the car (about 4-5lbs a door) which in the grand scheme of things is nothing. It all depends where that weight is put, ie not in the wheels.

congrats!
Thanks!

Congrats:tu:
Much appreciated!

These pictures are pretty much the first time I'm seeing of your car. I have to say, I really like it a lot. It seems from your list of mods, your car is very well rounded. I especially like your wheel and tire setup. Congrats. This TOTM is well deserved.

Thanks so much for the kind words. There are things I am still looking to clean up which are all minor really like getting my "JDM" dipstick back after my mechanic accidently broke it!!! that means I have to paint it again so it doesnt stick out like a sore thumb and also get my Mugen spark plug cover but spending $400 on that is hard to swallow at the moment lol

I really wish I could have gotten a professional photo shoot done but that is very hard to come across in this small Ohio town but I'm very appreciative many people overlooked the "fluff" and instead asked themselves "which car would I rather drive?" But to be honest my little Nikon Coolpix camera can take some good shots here and there. This is one of my best pics of my volks. It really shows off the "diamond" in the "diamond black" color it is labeled as lol

Congratulations, your car has come a long way and it looks fantastic. NBP with the Mugen spoiler looks so good and the wheels go well with the setup :tu:

Thank you kind sir. The spoiler and my hardwired radar detector are two of my most favorite things! Surprisingly though, people either love the spoiler or hate it. Really no in between

Congrats on the TOTM, it was definitely warranted..
Thanks brother! Hope the spoiler is working out for you. Youre one lucky dude I hopped onto a computer while at work that day like 2 minutes after it went up for sale and you got a "better" one than mine since it was virgin! hahaha. Youre not too far off from running for TOTM. Do it before the year runs out!
