Hey guys, I just bought a 2006. I don't have a maintenance report, and there are few indicators lights on. The check engine light is on for emissions. The brake light is on, the ABS light is on, and the VSA light is on.

So, being a new owner and being in the blind as far as what's been done. I'm assuming I should start with changing the oil, fuel filter, and air filter. I'm guessing I can change the 02 sensors to eliminate the emissions light? Do the 02 sensors affect performance in any way?

Im also wondering what I should do about the rest of the indicator lights. Do you guys have any suggestions? I'm not really in the market to take it to a shop, but I can probably do most minor things on my own.

Thanks guys!

I would recommend that you plug a code reader into your OBD port and see what trouble codes are being produced. They will give you more specific info on what may be the exact issue(s). You can find these generic codes on the internet. Let us know what you find and we can give you more specific or helpful information.
