I purchased a set of keys, immobilizer, ignition key cylinder and ecu so can have mine sent out to be reflashed and I need help with the cylinder. I removed the pin and pulled out the old cylinder but the new cylinder when inserted will not turn the ignition. I tried putting the old one back in and I am having the same problem. I need immediate help as I need my car to drive to work tomorrow.

Small update.
I have all the new stuff installed
Right now I have the ignition switch hanging off the back of the cylinder and I am able to start the car using a screw driver to turn the car on. It will not turn with key and the steering wheel is locked while car is running.
Is there any tips or tricks on how to properly install the key cylinder do I can use the key to unlock the wheel and start the car normally?

Thanks for the help guys.
I ended up having to take the 2 bolts on top of the steering column off which held the ignition cylinder housing. There was a button I had to press and slide the ignition into place and lock it back in.
