whatever 0w-30 synthetic is on sale at Walmart and a fram oil filter. I'm on a 5000 mile interval, but I'm thinking about going dino oil and shortening the interval to 2500-3000 miles since I don't commute everyday any more.
+mobil 1 oil and filter
sorry, but I have to laugh at you guys that use Mobil 1, especially the ones that list
it as being "full synthetic." it's no where near fully synthetic. I understand you guys
want to use what's cheap, but don't let the marketing fool you, at least understand
what you're putting into your car.
so instead of just pointing and laughing, I'll offer a suggestion. before I used to link a lot
to bobistheoilguy. but I've found that almost nobody actually reads anything there, they
claim it's all too complicated and such. then they just buy what's been marketed to them.
Mobil 1. so if you're looking for a cheap oil, that performs 10x better than Mobil 1, I suggest
you switch to Penzoil Platinum. I think it's the same price point, I think they also sell at
Wal-Mart and such, and I know for a fact it's far superior to Mobil 1.
if you do take some time to read on bobistheoilguy, you will find that Mobil 1 is like the
big joke of the site, and people are looked down upon for using it, it's always the noobs.
if you want a true synthetic; daily driving, not hard, mostly commuting: Amsoil. drive your
car hard and spirited, looking for the best of the best: Redline.
lots of debate on filters. I stick with the OEM ones personally.

If it was the Pennzoil that was more expensive, are you sure it wasn't "Pennzoil Ultra"? That is another good oil but I'd still stick with the Pennzoil Platinum as it's nearly as good but a heck of a lot cheaper.mobil1 and pennzoil at aautozone are about a $10 difference from one another i saw last night when i was there.
I was thinking about getting mobil 1 for my next oil change...but not anymore!!! Thanks for the heads up. What oil do you use MMs? What have you heard about royal purple?? Same thing?if you do take some time to read on bobistheoilguy, you will find that Mobil 1 is like the

Lol. No, you do not get to use their garage, it's just their slogan for their package deal on Do-It-Yourself (take it home to your own garage) oil package.Whats the deal with pepboys Do it yourself? Can you use there tools to or do you bring your own?
Royal Purple is okay, but for the money it's overpriced.I was thinking about getting mobil 1 for my next oil change...but not anymore!!! Thanks for the heads up. What oil do you use MMs? What have you heard about royal purple?? Same thing?
