Thank you!

No worries man your fine I didn't mean to take it out on you. It just seems to be a big question on some forums as of late. Not this one so much anymore all though it has had its moments as well.

I have no problem posting some info by any means but sometimes people push for more later on so guess I am just used to that and was squashing it before it started here. Nothing personal though.

Well this past weekend was rather eventful with my trip to IA. The event was a blast and even with the headache of my wheel (now known to be tire) it was still absolutely worth it. Driving on the roads in Buckhead in Atlanta is awesome with the spots that go under the buildings. I would have to stop and fill the tire about every 30-40 miles if I was going 75-80 however I latter slowed down to 65 and managed to get in 120 miles without having to fill it to finish the trip. Should have known better but tried to stay up with some friends on the way home and sure enough had the same results so had to resort back to 65mph after stopping 5 times in the first 3 hours. Pics to come later.

Well got home from work today and sprayed the entire wheel down with soap and water solution. After about 3min I found one small leak on the inside edge of the wheel which was the same side as before. Took it to DiscountTire and after about 5min they were able to reproduce it exactly where I said it was in there tank. So some more bead lock was applied. Guy said to let it dry for a while before I air the tire up. So hopefully this will be the end of my issues. Only good think is the tank proved the same thing I was confident in after my tub test that the wheel itself was not the leak.

Hopefully this will be the end of it.

From my experience (at least in my area) the majority of Discount Tire employees don't know what they're doing.
I live in race city USA I am not sure if that is better or worse lol.

DiscountTire FAIL!!! I went from one slow leak that I could at least make it the entire way to work on and fill up when I got there and fill it up before I leave to go home to 5 leaks on the back side that loose 1.5psi in 1 hour without even being mounted on the car. I don't know if I should just give it up at this point. Need to go home for the holidays 7 hours and don't know how I am even going to get there. Beyond frustrated at this point.

Finally some pics of new wheels (Which have already been changed)

Ok so after sorting out the leaking wheel and working with the company who was absolutely great and helped me out every step of the way standing behind their product.

I did a shoot back in May of my new wheels on the car and just got around to editing them.

The wheels are ISSForged Spyders in 20x9 and 20x11. Tires are Continental ExtremeContact DW with 245/30/20 front and 295/25/20 rear. ISSForged has given me great customer service along the way with all the questions I had.

I already have changed my mind and they have the wheels back and I am having them refinished in a different color. I should have the wheels back this week or early next so hopefully pictures of those won't take as long.

No more type here are the pics.

Picked up some ThinkDesign carbon parts for the interior recently.

The ThinkDesign parts match the factory trim great. The weave size is slightly larger I believe but I could only just make it out when holding it right next to the center console area so you can't tell at all once they are installed. I also got some clear door lights as well to get rid of the red ones.

I included a quick install for the gauge trim. It isn't difficult but figured it might come in handy possibly. The vents are straight forward so and just pop out and the new ones clip right in.

I also picked up a Silver flat bottom wheel from Sewell but I am still waiting on that to arrive. Should have it in about 2 weeks time.

Now I just need to pickup the rear seat divider and maybe the latch to the armrest compartment in silver to finish off the interior.

Vents:

Great attention to detail in the construction

Gauge Trim:

Together:

Install:

Remove this side panel first

You can now pull down the lower trim around the steering wheel. You can remove it if you want but you don't have to.

Remove the left screw to the gauge trim.

Remove the right screw to the gauge trim.

Pop up the clips that hold the leather trim in place.

Remove two top plastic screw clips. After this you can wiggle the trim loose and out of the dash.

Reverse to install.

looks soo good , like the subtle interior changes, they look like they could/should have been factory installed pieces (which is always a good thing)

CCC, love your cars. I used to have a Lexus and would like to go back someday...always wanted the IS-F and you do such a great job on modding on both cars. Can't wait to see what your next mod is!
