I was being stupid, I use to almost red line this car every now and then but stopped months ago and started shifting earlier. When I was in manual mode today I shifted around 6k and when I did the car stop showing the gears for manual mode. I put it back in drive and tried putting it back in to manual but nothing showed up. It shifts like normal when I put it back in drive but I keep trying to put in M but nothing shows and shifts like in automatic up any thoughts?

Jk.. you’ll have to have the car scanned for transmission codes.

You need to scan for errors in transmission module. See what it show to you. Inexpensive but good to have you can find used or Amazon approx 150-170$
Nice tool to have and it works with a lots of vehicle brands.
