hello guys,
i am thinking to buy new 18" rims for my jdm Honda accord CL7.
i am asking you as i think you know more , what is the maximum rim width i can fit on my CL7 Accord without any fender mods?
the more answers i have the more helpful you are.

So i need to know width and offset on a 18" rim to fit my car without any fender mods.

thanks a lot

Here's your answer: Roll your fenders.
Probably not very wide. Depends on the offset as well. W/o any modifications, probably at best 18x8. anything bigger will require rolling.
To zulu: thanks for the idea but the question is "what is the maximum rim width i can fit on my CL7 Accord without any fender mods?"

To DC206R: 18x8 and what offset? about +40 until +50 ? could you be more specific?
thanks for your answer
18x8.5 +45 or +50 offset would be my guess. The maximum width all depends on how low you will be. For example, you can run 18x12's if you raise your tsx, while you could probably only run 18x8 if you are very low.

Also, the tire size will affect the maximum width.

Lastly, the amount of camber you wish to run will also determine the maximum width. The question you asked is hard to answer because there are so many different components and specs involved.
I had 8.5 +51 in the rear with no fender mods and a 235 wide tire. I think 18x8.5 +45 is the widest without touching the fenders. That is if you will be lowering the car. At stock height many sizes clear, since the car sits so high. You didn't specify what height you will be at.

Edit: What tekneek said. He beat me to it.
yes tekneek , i agree with you, i forgot to say that i have tein adjustable suspension and i like the car to have a finger or two space between tyre and the fender.
About the camber i like to have normal look , not aggressive or anything un-normal.

To BluLabelCL9: sorry man , i forgot to speak about the height at my first post.
That sounds about the height I was at with the eibach prokit. I ran x8 +48 in the front and x8.5 +51 in the rear. Camber was set to OEM spec. Never had rub issues even with 4 passengers. Hope that helps.
thank you very much for your info BluLabelCL9

Yeah, you were literally asking a pointless question until you mentioned your suspension, height & camber goals.

It's still pretty pointless. Roll them.
From help from previous members I suggest keeping the width at 8 with a +35 offset but no more than a 8.5 with but around a +40 would be great
