Congratulations for such an amazing pick up. Was the s2000 another car you considered?
An e46 m3 would be my other choice if I had the money. I would looove to have an nsx.
Make sure you post a review. Tell us how good the car handles and how well balanced it is.
comptech supercharger up your sleeves? Think its twinscrew for the nsx I believe.
They make amazing power, but im pretty sure you have that planned lol

Soooo jealous, but its a great decision for a weekend car. A TSX, doesnt cut for a fun daily lol

Congratulations boss. NSX is truly an amazing car and would love to own one someday. Please do make a build thread here. Would love to see what you are doing to her. Hope the snow and salt gets cleared up soon so you can go on a spin.

It's been raining for the past 2 days which cleared off almost all of the salt/dirt on the road, and since it was sunny and 45F today I snuck out for a quick ride today. I didn't push her in the corners since she still has summer rubber but I did get to rev the engine out a bit and man is it sweet. The C32B has such a linear and effortless power delivery. And the sound...oh ma gawd!!! Especially above 6k RPMs, the engine note is just incredible!!!

First mod just arrived :)

It's a Personal Neo Actis steering wheel (340mm). Doesn't really come out well, but it is black with yellow stitching which should match my car nicely.

I always wanted to add an aftermarket steering wheel to the TSX, but I didn't want to lose Bluetooth or stereo functionality from the OEM wheel. With the NSX, that functionality doesn't exist so it was a no-brainer. Also, I dislike the feel of the stock NSX steering wheel.

Really excited to get this bad boy on. The build quality is amazing. Just waiting on my Works Bell steering hub.

When it rains it pours...first the steering wheel arrived, now this:

It's a set of KW v3 coilovers, arguably the most popular suspension setup in the NSX community. The 4x4 look will soon be a thing of the past .

Girlfriend bought me a DSLR for my birthday so I went out and took a few more pics today.

Also figured I'd get a few more up before she goes under the knife - dropping her off at Excelerate's shop to have Phase 1 complete.

I really have no idea what I'm doing with a camera (on Auto function only), but I'll learn eventually.

Unrelated question - I've been taking pics in RAW format (.NEF) but it doesn't look like I can upload them to PhotoBucket? Anyone advise?

RAW format is unprocessed. You would need a program (like Adobe Photoshop) to convert it to jpg (RAW is taken so that you have a greater depth of editing; in a program like Photoshop).

So to answer your question, switch the format you are taking pics in, and take some pics while Phase 1 goes underway at xlr8 :)

Picked her up after Phase 1 of mods. There are still a few things that have to be installed (mostly additional chassis bracing), but I just couldn't wait any longer. Missing the best weekends of the year to drive was too hard...

Sorry for the dark pics...took them right after a wash around sunset.

I just installed Pride resonated TPs and their V2 exhaust. It's an amazing sounding exhaust note. Very mechanical and high pitched - NSX guys liken it to an F1 sound. I haven't posted my own vids, but there are a bunch on YouTube. Those additions should put me to about 270-275whp.

As for the future, I was eventually going to go turbo, but I'm actually very happy with how it drives now. The 6-speed in the NA2 gives the car a much more useable midrange than the 5-speed in the NA1.

And to be honest, I rather enjoy driving a car that I really don't have to worry about mechanically. The TSX was an amazing car to drive and considerably faster in a straight line, but it could be a little finnicky at times. With the NSX, all I do is turn the key and drive. It's plenty fast enough...and the funny thing is that with a car this low (it's REALLY low), 30MPH feels like 60MPH.

Having said all of that...give me a year or two and ask again ;).

Man I'd love to have an NSX or even just an s2k.
Now that I have a family, always gonna need the 4 doors. I dont know how much nsx's are in the US, but in Australia, its the same price as a brand new sti - which makes the price difficult to justify.

Make sure u post updates as they come.
Im surprised you're not going supercharger since their carb legal already and very efficient since twin screw. But, turbo always gives you more power....I mean, since when is power enough?! Haha
