I just installed two vibrant stealth mufflers over the weekend, single tip 1146, 2.5 inlet, 3 inch outlet. It's a nice deep tone, but it's really quiet. My friends who I drive with told me they can't hear anything. What could I do to make my muffler sound louder?

Isn't the point of stealth mufflers to not be loud?? Am I missing something?

Lol, I really wasn't sure if "stealth" was being used by vibrant in the literal sense (sneaky 
), or as an advertising gimmick (tactical or something cheesy)
Buying a test pipe might help if you don't want to get rid of it.

Did you change the piping or just cut in a muffler?
And yes your rite the purpose of the muffler is to not attract attention of the law to your exhaust

Is this just a stock exhaust with new mufflers welded on?
The piping is pretty small and it will never be very loud if thats the case. You could delete the cat as others have said, you could also delete the resonator but that might cause drone.
