Thanks, guys. If I could do any one thing to the car now I would get the JDM AP1 modulo suspension...adjustable front shocks and only lowers the car like 10mm. I wish the CR suspension was 10mm lower like that but I think it is the same height as normal S2k's.

The tires on my RGR's are SHOT so I'm back on the stock 16's for now with the ORIGINAL 14.5 year-old Bridgestone S02's :) Anyway I'm actually kind of liking the 16's and may just get new tires for them and run like that for awhile.

Amazing how the S2000 changes your perspective on what "sporty" is, huh? I love my TSX but no matter what I ever do to it, it just won't match the steering, braking, and throttle response of the S2k. Anyway you're going to love your AP2, great buy!

Current setup w/ OEM hardtop and 16's / Spoon gunmetal lugs (OEM ball seats). Really want to get some RE11a's for these wheels soon. The steering is somehow a bit better on this car with the stock offset wheels I think. Would like the JDM optional 16" BBS wheels someday too I guess. Really light weight.

I just purchased an AP2 this week and am in the same situation as you tire-wise. The tires are the OEM bridgetones from 2005 and I will likely have to get the replaced. This car is a money pit already and it's only been a few days!

Thanks man! Oh yeah, the AP2 is definitely a dream come true! The TSX is still "sporty" I guess, but the S2000 is such a treat to drive! I'm going to go for the hardtop as well, it's a winter project of mine to hunt one down. As for tires, in the spring I think I will switch over to Michelin Pilot Super Sports, retaining the OEM AP2V1 wheels I have.

Are you over on S2KI by any chance?

Nice car(s)!

I extremely rarely post on s2ki because I don't mod the car too much (don't want to screw it up) but I have the same username there.

If you do get the hardtop try and find the aluminum oem stand as well. Very nice..

Thanks!

I like the hardtop...looks cool on the car, not really noiser than the soft top but you do get some creaking sounds from it in certain situations.

Biggest downside is that it takes up a lot of space in the garage to store it when it is off the car. Also unless you have some kind of special hoist it takes two people to put it on or take it off (not heavy just large and awkward).
