But seriously folks.....sounds like it might be similar to a problem I had on one of my previous Acuras, don't remember if it was my old '88 Legend or my '03 TL-S:
Several plastic parts kept coming loose from under the passenger seat. (They never squeaked.) I assumed they were just for covering the metal "machinery" under the seat. I didn't think they were for actual "protection," since there didn't seem to be any danger with that metal stuff exposed.
So I assumed the purpose of those plastic parts was just to come loose.
And maybe also to squeak.
Maybe it's sort of a safety thing, to keep us from getting our hands mangled if we stick them under the seat. :donno:
