It started making a squeaking noise (like a spring) today when going over bumps!! Windshield rattles, door seals crackle, moonroof and now squeaks??

It's the Kellogs rice krispies car, snap crackle and pop :mecry:

But still the best car I've ever had personally.

Ok, the squeak stopped today but I noticed that some
plastic piece fell out on to the floor mat :donno: :donno: :donno:

?? Oh well, as long as the car doesn't keep losing parts over
the next few years. :mardi:

This is almost too obvious, but.....have you considered that maybe the loose plastic piece was causing the squeak?

But seriously folks.....sounds like it might be similar to a problem I had on one of my previous Acuras, don't remember if it was my old '88 Legend or my '03 TL-S: Several plastic parts kept coming loose from under the passenger seat. (They never squeaked.) I assumed they were just for covering the metal "machinery" under the seat. I didn't think they were for actual "protection," since there didn't seem to be any danger with that metal stuff exposed.

So I assumed the purpose of those plastic parts was just to come loose.
And maybe also to squeak.


Maybe it's sort of a safety thing, to keep us from getting our hands mangled if we stick them under the seat. :donno:
