I have a similar, if not, the same problem as the fellas above. It'll happen on the warning screen soon after I start the car. Once it glitches for three or four seconds, the screen will shut off and restart. After which everything appears fine and functions properly.

Or, when the vehicle is in motion and the system is not in use, the warning screen will pop up randomly on its own, glitch, shut off and restart, then function properly.

This does not happen every time I drive or everyday. It occurs about once or twice a week. Temperature does not affect the occurrence. I doubt water is an issue.

The only things I have changed electronically were additional ground wires in the engine bay and a sub-woofer system using a hi-lo converter. These have been on the vehicle for over a year. The issue started three weeks ago. Nothing has occurred or been modified for the past year.

The screen glitch looks similar to this, but wavey.

Didn't find any solutions here or on Google. If you know what's going on and/or where the issue may be, please let me know. I'm hoping it isn't an internal problem with the navigation unit itself and hoping its some kind of intermittent ground issue...

Also, for those that have seen or own an FSM for the 1st Gen TSX, does it have a detailed wiring schematic for the Navigation System as well as a trouble shoot?

Any recommendation on where to purchase and/or download the FSM?
