i try searching for a picture or info on 17x9 with 25offset what tire size would be good to keep somewhat of a performance feeling when i drive.. and how far off from the fender would the 17x9 be ?

im going to use my 2008 OEM specs which 215/50/17 mounted on stock OEM wheels which are 17x7 with +55 offset, you can go with 195/55/17 but thats going to be a big stretch on the tire in my opinion, im not sure if it possible or safe, from the calculator it looks like you might pull it off with no fender modding but im not sure as im only using a visual comparison to stock tire. if you go to Online Wheel & Tyre Fitment calculator. Offset, Tyre stretch and Rolling Radius calculator you can see it yourself, you can also play around with the specs, just leave the top as 215/50/17/7/55 thats the OEM wheel and specs, then input your tire size X/X/ then wheel size 17/9 then your offset 25 with the 195/55/17 theres only 0.08% speedo error so your milage will be only off by less than 1% which is good. anyways play around with the calculator and see if you can find out more information on how safe it would be to run 195/55/17 on a 17x9 rim...
