so ive been looking for my first car for awhile now and have been stuck between these two

2006 NBP TSX w/ 150,000km(about 90k miles) priced at $12,000
or
2008 PWP TSX w/ 90,000km(about 55k miles) priced at $17,000
Both 6MT

originally i wanted a 2006 because of hondata but recently heard that 2008 can be flashed without downtime at certain dealers
i know the cars are really reliable and seen other members go well above 300,000KM(200k miles)

so my question is that is it really worth the extra $5000 for the newer model?

Which colour do you like more? Do either of them have navigation? Have you test driven both of them? If none of that matters to you and you feel the only difference is the mileage, I would go for the 08. You can get FlashPro for the 08 and if you ever want to sell the car later on, you'll get more back selling the 08.

^^^ +1 !!!! 08!!! Flashpro i have a 06 with reflash and with my mods i eventually need Flash pro so if your gonna mod 08 all the way if your gonna keep it simple (which almost NEVER happens) then go for 2006 as far as milage goes these cars last from what i see and if anything you can swap parts down the road even new engine

While the 2006 TSX used to be the best year to purchase, Hondata TSX FlashPro has changed that.

There is very little difference now between the 2006 TSX & the 2007-08 TSX.

A simple ECU swap in the 2006 TSX & it's identical to the 2007-08.
The only difference I can think of is the lame TPMS system in the 2007-08 TSX's.
Easily blocked with a piece of black electrical tape on the dash cluster.

If you are any kind of automotive enthusiast, avoid the automatic transmission in the TSX.
