Would help a lot if you mentions what your needs are

Comfort?
Slamming?
Good handling?
Rebuildable?
Spring rates?

All factors to consider plus a bunch more.

From reviews, seems like all you listed are good choices. Buddy clubs is a solid setup all around but considered soft by some. You can get custom spring rates with BCs, me they're pretty comfy despite how stiff they can be. Only saw one review for the isc, seems good. Lotsa ppl runnin ground control w/ konis.

Yeah done this thread on phone did it fast sorry

I want to drop at least 3" if not more.
No track whatsoever, strictly dd
No winter
Max comfort for max drop
Spirited driving sometimes in curves but hey it's still a 3300 pounds car so not expecting world record.

I saw buddy club good reviews but what afraid me is replacement and or warranty. I do like isc 2 years warranty and low cost replacement. But something in me keeps telling me buy n+. I always say first choice is the better choice, still confused tho.

Go N+'s. A lot of guys, including myself, run them and the ride is great plus you can slam them if you want. You could look at the Tein Street Advance which I believe are the upgrade to the Super Streets. I don't know a whole lot about the Advance though.

I have the n+, some points to consider:

Pros:

*Very soft ride
*Can go very low, low enough for stance fitment
*Dampening makes a difference (unlike those 36 way adjustable ones)
*Japanese made
*Priced very well

Cons:
*No rebuild program, 1 year warranty only valid if bought from authorized vendor AND authorized installer (receipt needed for both)
*Rears really do seize up fast, my car was never driven in snow, I cleaned the threads and white lithium greased them, even with that, after 3000 miles and 13 months the rears are a b*tch to adjust
*Spring rates are great for comfort, might want something stiffer for performance.

If I could do it again, I would get Tein CST. Only because of the rears seizing up. I prefer a monotube coilover (even though most people will tell you a twintube is better for street application). If the SS/SA were monotube I would have gotten those. Thats the only reason why I went for the n+.

So if I install buddy club myself no warranty at all ...

Also I don't like the fast seizing. And no rebuild program.

Finally there is nothing to back the product up. Might look elsewhere then.

I can't afford tein, their flex series is out of my budget.

I'll look again for bc isc or yellow + gc sleeves.

How low can I go on yellow ?

Why not tein street advance? Its the Super Streets, but improved upon, and it pretty cheap, like under $1k shipped.

If you cant afford that, tein basic.....which is as cheap as FF's.

EDIT: quick search:

also, I heard that our forum sponsor, heeltoe, price matches..

A thread I made when I found out tein was making the SA:

I would get these, and get new top hats (just remembered, another reason why I preferred bc n+, comes with mounts lol) with the Type S bushing...it'll come out to the same as Bc n+ shipped, or close...

personally had bc n+ for like 50k miles and rode on them slammed. installed w/ preloads set per instructions, just maxed out the threaded body. would bottom out on some dips, road imperfections whatever, pretty sure they're blown now. lol. if i could go back i wouldn't get them, probably would have gotten konis and gcs w/ custom rates instead.

hear nothing but great things about konis, although i'm not sure how low the off the shelf yellows can really support...

I got an 04 tsx that doesn't run 5 months per year. I usually do 800-900 miles per month. for 7 months its 5k to 6k miles. If those bc n+ lasts around 40k-50K miles for most of you, thats at least 5 years for me. I will not have that car in 5 years for sure.

I know Koni Yellow lasts forever, but I will not have this car forever.

So now the question is :
ISC
Buddy Club N+
BC br

ISC costs less than the other 2. Got the best warranty at 2 years and replacement at 65$ each. Thats amazing. BC br drop alot and seems to have good craftmanship. Same goes for Buddy Club N+.

For the cons, I dont know how reliable and how is the ride on ISC. Buddy Club dont have a good warranty, in fact it doesn't have one at all. No rebuildable service and trouble getting replacements. No cons at the moment for BC br.

I'm still lost :| its not easy to find something valuable and good quality.

KONI yellows are stock length shocks, keep that in mind. To go very low you will need very stiff springs and there will be very little travel. I love my KONIs, but slamming the car was not my goal.

Yeah I know about konis. I don't want to get custom revalving and rod lenght nor get custom spring rate from gc.

Tein flex would be ideal otherwise it's about isc bc br or n+. Should I got for the best warranty on those since they mostly are the same ?

OK guys... complete newbie here. I'm starting to work on my '07 TSX and want to lower it... I'm thinking it helps on the corners and I love to drive the curvy roads.
I don't understand some of your lingo (I said I was a newbie) like "slamming", "Yellows", "Top Hats", "ICS" (I looked up ICS on HeelToe's website but couldn't find a match). I also don't understand the massive price difference between the Coilover Kits (I'm assumng this is what you're discussing). I'm also guessing all the kits include fronts and rears. Also guessing the ability to "rebuild" lengthens the lifespan of the shocks.
So I'm looking to lower 2" to 3", have a smooth ride & handle corners well. Maybe taking it on the track when I'm done (and no longer a newbie).
If you don't mind teaching a newbie, I'd really appreciate any help!
