Hi there,

as you can read HERE

i got a pearl white 04 6 speed TSX, i should have it on monday and then i'll post pictures.

I need some help for wheels.

I would keep the original rims for winter and buy some 17" wheels for the other 3 seasons.

Now am a real estate broker, so am looking for some nice wheels that are not giving a "racing" look to the car. I love the 5 double branch stars look but am willing to hear about different styles.

So far, i saw AME tracer wheels from THIS thread, he got 18" i would go for 17" since the car come with new 17" stock tires.

I also saw THESES A-spec kind of wheels that look pretty much like the style am looking for.

I used to have a Rx7 with some BBS wheels that were looking good as well.

I want to know if any of you have other ideas of wheels. I got a budget of about 1000$ canadian for the wheels only since i got the tires for now.

Am not used to lowered suspension jobs, i might do it but its not in my priority since ill do a lot of mileage with the car and comfort comes first over look and curves stability for me.

Thanks for your help.

here's a pic of the car at the wholeseller

Hmm if you do not plan on lowering the car, I say go with the aspec wheels. IMO those look most natural on a stock height car. Also if you are thinking about buying BBS style rims with many spokes, I suggest going 18s instead of 17s...It just looks 100x better on a TSX.

I just don't see the point of swapping out ur oem 17's for aftermarket 17's especially if u don't have any strong desire to drop it sometime soon. Even if ur oem's are scratched up i would just invest in fixing them and call it a day. I'm looking at it from my point of view. If I'm contemplating wheels then I'm doing suspension first and then I'll slap on some 18's. But I would NEVER put on any new 17/18 rims without dropping the car first.

Truth. I put my rims on... And i couldn't stand how it looked without a drop. I drive alot (daily and long distances- NY to Dallas to Toronto to Chicago on the regular) and sometimes fully loaded w stuff... Im not dropped like crazy but its just right for my needs and ride quality is not bad At all w F2s

If you want to stay within 17's, go JDM with the DC5R wheels. They sound like the rims you describe.

Or the Euro R wheels

Pretty hard to find them in excellent condition but you can always have them refinished!
