Heres what you can do Brother... MAKE YOUTUBE YOUR GIRLFRIEND!!! A lot of small mods you can do yourself... lets start with your engine bay... you can change the color of your valve cover, your intake cover(the one that says dohc 2.4) and some other small things out there. If you are on a budget, dont try and brake your pockets... all of these high name brands are great, BUT! and i mean BUT, if you arent on the track, racing or carshows, use non name brand things. Also look on forms for people that sell things. They will help you out. Use Amazon, and ebay for some simple mods. Good luck and if any questions, i will help out. Ive modded my car very well on a small budget as well. Just the BIGGEST MOD THAT YOU CAN DO TO YOUR CAR IS "DONT BE SCARED TO ASK QUESTIONS AND REMEMBER TO TAKE CONSTRUCTIVE CRITISIUM" Good luck!!! Also what I MOST recommend, is if you just got your car, Change your drive belt, change your oil, and stark plus(NGK!!!!!) go to autozone and look those things up. You never know how your car was treated before you. Just looking out.

you can buy my racing headers by SSR race team...very cheap. race proven!!
$750. Much better than anything out there... don't waste your money on weapon R, Comptech, and dc headers!!! NOW complete your exhaust system. Maybe get a reflash which is cheap now.

Hey, Welcome to the forum..usually low budget and modding don't work but there are a few things you can do here and there to "pimp" your ride.
LOOKS: 1st Gen - Car Care, ... - Acura TSX Club : Acura TSX Forum
Plasti dip grill chrome except for "A", some like chrom some don't
Plasti Dip Door trip or use something called BMW shadow line again you might like the chrome is not then here you go.
De-badge the "TSX" "ACURA" from trunk leave the "A"
Paint Calipers black or red or whatever color you want.
valve cover, engine bay can be painted.
Fog lights they sell a vinyl thats yellow if your into that look.

2. DIY Intake many version use the search. That should be pretty cheap. even free
3. you can eliminate the oval resonator on the exhaust, not a noticable thing but drop 2-3 pounds of car that can help. cheap $30
4. Hondata heat Shied Gasket about $50 combines with TB bypass by far one of the best mods.
5.Header - Ebay topspeed is said to be good , weapon R has been proven to have best results comptech is direct fit not as good but still good. (need at least 400)
Suspension:
1. springs or aspec kit
2. TLS Rear sway Bar - 40$ shipped
3. TLS front sway bar - Pain in the ass would not do it again.
keep checking the classifieds there's tons of items for sale that will help you out for cheap

Trying to lower the ride? ive got some used Megan Racing lowering springs.(2in drop front and back) about 10,000 miles on them. mostly highway miles. If your interested, send me a message. ill hook you up. and nothing wrong with them, i just got some coilovers to drop the car even more.

Depends on what your budget is?
First up lowering springs. ^^^^^ as above, or Tein S Tech springs are under $200 and will change the stance and ride of your car for the better.
Then be on the look out for a nice set used wheels while you do cheap cosmetic changes with paint or vinyl wrap.
Intake mods (cone filter) can be done for under $30.

I'm just getting my TSX 2 weeks ago and the first mod will be audio. I bought an MS-8 which I've decided against using per my audio goals, but its brand new and will revolutionize the stock system. I'll sell it to you for $450 which is the best deal around I promise!
