North West Region Chat Thread

I was thinking we could have a local chat thread were we can talk about what ever we want besides sightings other cars.

Just thought I would give it a try :)

So I have been having troubles with my local dealer and trying to get some interior stuff fixed. Been there twice and both times it's wear items and they did not do much about anything but tell me to take a hike.

So I called Acura USA and told them what's going on. They gave me a case # and told me to go back to the dealer and tell them to look at my issues again plus my two more issues that came up. I went to the dealer for a third time today feeling like a ass for coming back again. This time the kept my car and gave me a loaner for the weekend and told me that they would look at everything and let me know what Acura says.

I am hoping they will take care of all the problems but I am not holding my breath on anything. I hope for a couple of fixes at least !

They gave me the speech about buying the car from them, were my car was serviced and loyalty to that dealer. So I hope for good news Monday afternoon and they gave me a 2012 zdx and it's nice bat they did not clean the inside and it looks like some one ate like a animal inside the car lol

It's an app and there's a good 12-15 people in it where we just talk Tsx's and random chat. If you wanna shoot me your number I can add you in it. There's a couple CU2 but mainly Julious who you met at the dealer. The rest are CL9's but we are all close. Always helping each other out with diagnosing and listing parts for sale. But this chat here is a good idea as well.

The dealer were my car is at just called and asked if I wanted to trade in my car. Lol

How about they just fix the crap that's wrong with my car first.

I will keep that in mind as the two I have called and been to to ask for past information on my car and to try and get anything fixed inside my car have been horrible. The parts people have been great with me at the Seattle store where my car is but the service not so much.

Thanks and yeah I am just looking for a dealer that is helpful. Instead of jumping in the car and saying that's normal and sending me on my way. But like you said it closer to me so closer is always good. I am already taking a lot of time to go to the dealer !

So you must live up north then ? They put me in a loaner 2012 ZDX and it's nice but I had no idea they were going to keep my car over the weekend and give me one. They failed to tell me that when I call to set up the appointment.

Yeah Acura of Lynnwood is the only dealer I have dealt with for a reason. Not only because it's close to me but I have built a big friendship with 1/2 the stuff. They always take care of the people I refer. You could ask a lot of people. I also have a friend in service and she'll take care of you. But if closer is better, build a friendship with the dealer close to you.

I would love to build a friendship with the dealer I going to but I think the parts department might be my only chance. Still have some hope for the service department guys but we will see.

The ZXD was nice it was kind of small in the back then I thought it would be and the sun roof visor was broken and the inside of it was super dirty and it came with a quarter tank of gas.

I called and complained about the visor being broken and the gave me a 2013 MDX that was or seemed smaller but it had room for 8 people and the rear seats folded down. It also had the dvd option for the kids and there was even a radio in the back that they could use with head phones. They were both about the same sticker price. Witch was almost $55,000 before taxes and all the other crap.

They told me to go pack sand and so did Acura so I got nothing fixed and much time wasted :(

To the dealer up there ? Everything is now documented with Acura and my car. So if someone was to look it up they would see that Acura turned me down not just the dealer. Acura said it was because I bought the car and it was sold as is and I was not the original owner either.

I fought with the dealer and now Acura for almost 3 months and they still told me no.

Yeah but it's all good I can fix the stuff myself, I was hoping to get the steering wheel air bag replaced because it was the most expensive thing. To bad the steering wheels air bag cover is the part that I want replaced.

Last time I was at the dealer they called and asked if I wanted to trade my car in. I said no it is still in your shop. I am sure the sales guy had no idea it was there that day.

I agree they probably only talk when someone goes to the service department to look at a new car c1i2ck
