I just upgraded my factory acura battery to an Odyssey battery model PC925MJT. Is the battery suppose to sit the normal way or sideway? How did you guys installed it?

If I install it the normal way (facing up), I have to remove the battery tray in order for it to fit. The battery tie down bracket sits a different position then normal and the bracket is a little loose unless I add washers. Also, the battery is packed tight against the intake housing and the air vent.

If I install it sideway then I can keep the battery tray and the battery tie down bracket sits the same position as factory battery and it tightening up just fine.
