Paintin a few things

Hey whats up guys! Been tryin to keep myself busy at work since we're slow so Ive been working on my own car haha. Plasti-dipped my grille, painted the calipers and rear mufflers. Not a big fan of the plasti dip but I thought I'd give it a try. Its pretty cool but I don't know how I feel about doing my wheels and car in it haha. Check out the pics! Last few are sway bar links we did on a Cadillac Fleetwood, very interesting. Anyways give em a look!

These are the front calipers before I cleaned em

After, Not 100% clean but better than all that dust on em

Came out really good. I used VHT Caliper paint left over from my Civic. This color is almost spot on with the Milano Red.

If anyone was curious there's 27 screws hold those pieces together, OVERKILL!

Ignore the hood. I think the previous owner left it out in the sun all day so it got faded. Milano red is infamous for it, though my Civic had better paint than this. Around tax time I'll be painting it a new color. I'm thinking a gray (possibly Hyundai's Gran Premio Gray) or random color like green (like Super Street's FRS). Who knows though.

These were the mufflers before. I sanded down some of the edges before to see if I like it polished but wasn't a fan. That chrome like shine is too much for me, but I did leave the tips.

Since I work at an auto repair shop we have seat covers, though I've never used em till this. They make great covers for painting lol. I used a hi temp enamel that I got at the Home Depot down the hill, works great!

So these are the SB links we did on the Cadillac. We used driveworks links and this is the result of putting them on and letting them sit for 10 min, not dropping the car on the ground, and not hammering em down with an impact. Choose wisely on your products!

Super easy and it makes your car look 10x better!
Any pics of the calipers/wheels mounted on the car from a distance?

No I don't have any sadly
I like the grill, what year is your tsx?

My 2005 has chrome trim on the hood so I can't do that.

Kindest Regards,
