Hello everyone! I figure it is time to introduce my 2006 Arctic Blue TSX with 66k. Mechanically, my TSX is completely stock and I will honestly, probably keep it that way. Cosmetically, I've added a few very minor things just to make it "my own." I think my only remaining future plans are lowering it 1.5 inches (debating bc the ride is so smooth now, why change it!), and dark gray or black rims (keeping the 17" base). :)

Here are some photos of my TSX.

TSX after a fresh wash, wax, and tint.

I added 35W 4300k in the fogs to match the factory installed HID's. Some people say the HID's are unnecessary in the fogs, but I think this looks so much cleaner. Love them!

It surely wouldn't be a chick car without these LED strips. Don't judge me! They're also under my front seats to accent the back. These are controlled by a remote, so I can turn them on/off or change the color whenever I want, haha. These are actual RGB LED strips wired into my ignition so they stay on for a few seconds after I shut off the car and get out. These are not those awkward tube light things.

Latest project - JUST COMPLETED YESTERDAY (3/5) - was removing the amber corners and putting in white LEDs; removing the center signal plates and putting in amber Switchbacks (DRL not compatible); painted the inner housings gloss black; and the final touch were CCFL halos. I saw a photo of the halos when browsing these forums, and I was completely in love with them. I don't remember the gents username, but thank you for the inspiration bc you were so right in saying that photos absolutely do not do these halos justice. In person, these look amazing!

I've been told my headlights now look "JDM" :donno: .. that is not the look I was going for. I just didn't like the giant amber corners, and the center halo would've look weird with the amber plate. I opted for the 3 halos instead of 2, because I wanted something different (since a lot people add halos to their cars).

I did not edit any of these photos, so please excuse my poor camera work, haha.

Front of the car with ambers removed.

Close ups of the housing. Headlight lens looks yellow-ish, just my lame camera causing that.

Photos of the halos. I had to capture these at an angle because getting them head-on was impossible, they are way too bright.

I've also got the halogen bulbs replaced with white LEDs inside and out, as well as the license tag. I got everything done by a local shop in my area. I go to them for everything lighting related and so far I have never had any issues with their stuff. I'm always a bit skeptical of buying things online, kinda freaks me out.

Hope everyone has a great weekend! :wiggle:

cleaaaan. planning to take the amber corners out of my headlights also! look's good
Thank you! :) I was skeptical about taking the amber corners out at first, it was actually suggested by the place I took it to get all this done. However, I have to say that on the TSX, they look much MUCH better with the clear corners. I love it. You will love it!

I dig em. And id like to have em. But idk how long id like them for. What if I get tired of them in several months and then I wanna go back to stock?
Lol just ranting. None the less, nice progress man.
I thought of the same thing, but I made sure to save my amber plates just in case. The halos? ehh, Seeing them in photos does absolutely no justice to seeing them in person. They're unique, and that's exactly what I wanted.

Oh and, I'm a ma'am. :toocool:

Looks like you're off to a great start. I don't see many modded TSX's in Central FL. Im not one to complain though :D

I'm with "BlueLabelCL9" :naughty: :leghump:  :jk:
Just cuz you're a fellow ABPer. :D

Do you plan on getting amber bulbs for the signal? I only ask cuz I used to have the center amber removed on my JDM headlights too. I ran amber bulbs, but was bothered with the bulb being so exposed. So after a year I put the amber lens back in.

Welcome aboard! Man I love the color, and the fact that your a girl adds some new light to the forums! All you need now is the euro r kit and the car would look gorgeous. Interesting mod on the lights, not a huge fan of the cleared out look but the Halo's must be nice at night. More pictures would be awesome :)

I don't either actually and I don't mind. :) I imagine our TSX's aren't too common to begin with, and I love my car so I wanted to do something unique.

Hey on that led lights by ur feet do u have them on all time or is only when u open ur doors ?
I have my LED's wired into my ignition, so as soon as my car turns on, my LED's come on. I have a remote control so I can turn them on/off (as long as the parking lights are on) or change the color anytime I want to.

I actually have amber LEDs in the turn signals now. The LED itself is white (as opposed to that actual amber-colored glass bulb), so unless my turn signals are on, you can't see any amber. :festive:

Thank you kind sir! I wasn't sure how I'd like the halos when someone told me about them. I saw them in photos and liked them, but in person, I love them.

Beautiful ABP.
Thank you! :)
