man you guys in the states are talking about overpriced houses?! Houses in Australia are freaken heaps overpriced. Im looking for a house in a decent, not posh, suburb and we are looking at up to $1mil. Not a massive block of land and only an average looking house too!

Thanks brother! Thanks to the rest of you as well. The housing market is above average here in Texas as is employment. Although some parts do suck. My brother a recent graduate from The University of Houston(Political Science) can't find a job other than part time retail/fast food anywhere in Houston. I do love TEXAS as well as my Cowboys, Mavericks and Rangers!

Over here in Perth Aus, 250k gets you a tiny 2 bed, 1 bath, piece of sh*t
IF you could even find one to buy.
Our average house price is around 700k
