If I end up getting a TSX, I am thinking about tinting the windows the legal limit (35% in MN). I was just wondering if anyone had pictures or could lead me to any pictures of a Carbon Gray with tinted windows?

Did you get a chance to take any pics yet? I don't mean to be pushy, but I need to give them a yes or no in a few days... I want them to do it prior to it's arrival rather than after, I don't want to have to give the car back after waiting over a month for it...

ps.. i am in the same deciding factor stage.. well i want black or carbon gray... and my current car is black and tinted.. i knoe i want my car to betinted.. .and i can't decide if i like the way the cg looks tinted

the black on black has a real flow to it that the gray/black isn't capturing... ahh well hope this helps

Thanks for the picture! And you are right, the tint doesn't look "as" good on the Carbon as it does on the Black. I was hoping that it would look better, but I still think I will do it.

I can go up to 50% tint here in Minnesota, but I am thinking that less might be better? What do you think?

ok.. im confused with your question...
with tint the higher the number the lighter the tint....

so like 50 is less dark then 30

the legal limit in ohio is 50% and it was soooooooo not darl enough. like if your going to do 50% may as well no do it in my opinion.. that is why i did 15%
I haven't had any issues with cops or anything i guess it depends on what else you have done to your car.. i forsee i may have an issue or two after i lowermy accord in a week or two.. but i'll deal with that when the time comes.. heres a pic of 15% on a black accord.. i think the black on black tint just looks darker then tint on other cars

Oops, sorry, I keep forgetting that it is the amount of light that can pass through and not the amount it blocks out. I think MN law is actually 50% (which sucks) however, I know that on my BMW X5, it came tinted from the factory and everyone uses 35% to match it? How could they get away with selling that on a new car? I'll have to look into it a little more deeply I guess. Thanks for the information...

I think Cali law says NO TINT on the front windows but I'll check that for sure later.

And I know of California Highway Patrolmen ticketing for front windshield tinting and driver's window/front passenger window tinting. It's a fix-it ticket, but whatta bitch!
