I have a leak in the power steering oil cooler line. It has rusted through just in front of the rubber return hose. Its an easy fix with some new power steering hose since i only need to extend the hose about 3 inches to bypass the rusted section. My question is, what size is that metal line? I recently repaired the transmission line and it was a metric size, but i was able to make a standard size hose work with tight clamps. Any input would be appreciated keeping in mind that metal line is nearly $100 new for some reason... which is a shame because it would be so easy to just replace the whole thing lol.

I repaired it with some 3/8 trans oil cooler line, all better now. The culprit may have been a dry rot hose and rusted clamp at the metal line but I replaced it all just to be sure.
