Alright.. Ive been lurking for a while now and recently just made an account.

This may be a stupid question but i just cant seem to find anything while searching (I am probably using the wrong terms)

In all of my cars that I have owned, when in gear the car doesn't roll (front wheels are locked) Why is it that when i jack my TSX up and put it in 1st or 2nd gear the front wheels still spin?

I am sorry if t is a stupid question but I was a little concerned the last time i changed my oil and made this observation. Is something wrong with my transmission or is this normal?

We have an open differential. So that lets a wheel spin freely. On a LSD (limited slip differential) you wouldn't be able to do that. Nothing is wrong with your car, thats normal:)
You can google LSD and read some pages on it, youll learn alot!
