I got around ti finally throwing my rbc on the tsx. Its pretty easy and simply. Run one t fitting no need to drill. The only problem I ran into was first start I had a huge vac leak I didn't know where until l I found that my 06+ p2r gasket was causing a huge leak. So i put the 04 gasket back on and it works fine. I can definitely feel a huge lose in torque below 3500rpm but man once in the upper rpm and vtec the car hauls ass!

i bought an RBC first was not satisfied with how the throttlebody matted up to the rbc.

in my mind it did not sandwich the gasket properly to cover the idle control which is where you had your leak.

I have the 06 tsx throttle body it's big enough for now. I'm gonna save up and get o6 ecu and go flash pro. T fitting is on the side for the line that goes to engine mount. As for now tuning wise car drives fine like I said in upper Rpms car pulls nice a good increase in power. I also have the vtec controller on it so I lowered vtec to 5.

You'll need an 07/08 ECU for flashpro, not an 06. Grats on the RBC :)

Honestly this is not my first rodeo lol. I didn't just lower vtec. I've done this before on my s2000 with great success. The vafc lets you lower vtec and change a bunch of other things like fuel correction for certain Rpms as it controls your map sensor. Believe me my cars just fine running ten times better for now till I can afford to do flash pro. For example before my buddy with a 06 si with bolt ons would beat my car by bus lengths. Now he only takes me by a car and I'm an automatic. All due to the vtec engagement being horrible from the factory...

VAFC to tube a car .................:puke:. They still make these things? Cool tool if this was the late 90's, but in all seriousness they cant let you see what you are changing. Without controlling timing and a little bit of VTC at the vtec engagement, lowering a vtec point is absolutely useless.
