I'm sure it's just a few bolts, I've done this before to other cars, but thought if anyone had done this to the TSX you could chime in before I get back there in a day or two.

I need to remove and clean my rear seat, yesterday my daughter dumped a full glass of formula back there, I watched as it oozed into my beautiful perforated leather, cleaned what I could but in the 101 degree weather today my car smells like vomit. Need to take it out and clean that foam I think.

I love that little girl though.

I assume it's just a few bolts....searched on the forums but didn't see anything...anyone who can contribute, please do.

Thanks!

yank the bottom of the rear seats and it should unsnap. then it is a bolt or 2 for the vertical side piece closest to the door
Thanks man! Ended up tackling it after work today. Yes as he said yank on the front of the seats, they snap out. The seat itself is held in by one 10mm bolt located toward the right (drivers) side near one of the car seat latches.

There was a yellow dried solid puddle of baby formula under the seat.

Now to try and get this smell out of Acuras weird funky space age foam rubber seat material....

I just gagged..my daughter was born may 1st and baby formula and heat don't mix. That is a stinky combo you have going on in your back seat. Goodluck with getting the smell out. Febreeze, moving air and time are your friend.

Thanks for all the ideas. I used a few chemicals on it but could still smell the milk. So I put a hose on the seat and basically rinsed out the foam for several minutes. Out of the car of course. The smell seems to be gone but i won't know until it is totally dry and I reinstall it tomorrow. This was not good for my leather and it's looking like a raisin a bit on the seat part, but it's not too noticeable.

Here's the 10mm bolt I was talking about on the right side, circled in green close to the latch attachment and seatbelt:

Here's the culprit:

How could I be upset?
