Is it really hard to remove the sunroof cover? The one that slides back and forth. I have a mod in mind that I 'might' do depending if it's not that hard and I can source out the parts.

The mod I want to do in regards to the Sunroof cover is a functional one.

My old Mercedes had vents in the rear of the cover so that if i tilt up the sunroof, the vents allow air to pass through.

Sit in a mercedes and look at the sunroof cover and you'll understand what i mean.

Mine is clean but then again..I rarely have my sunroof open.

Maybe I sould put some fabric protectant on it or soemthing.

My moonroof cover is always open , unless it's a blazing sun sitting on top of me. The thing looks as good as new

roflmao, to remove the sunshade, you'll have to remove the moonroof glass, among other things.

My wife's old mazda protege has those vents as well, haha. Wonder why Acura didn't think of this.
