Hi, im looking for a DIY method to replace my low beam system from ballast to bulb. garage wants to charge 750 for this and im sure i can get a kit for $100-200. please help

What do you mean by replacing? It is faulty or ? ... Is it a TSX or a CL9 accord?

I'm thinking he wants to take out the projectors/hid system and go with a "regular" system with just a bulb....?

I can understand why because I feel like my wife's 06 Accord has better light output than my tsx...

This is nt hard to do, you need to take off the bumper to have access in removing the headlights. Our OEM Mitsubishi Ballast are located below the headlight assembly. What is wrong with your HID? Did the ballast go out? Or the bulb went out? You need to find out which one went out and buy the parts at the retrofit source , they have great D2S bulbs, you can go aftermarket or OEM Osram if you'd like. As for the Ballast, the Morimoto should work great. Our OEM ballast are a bit expensive.
