A sound like a squealing, whirring, maybe even metal-on-metal occurs during a tight right turn like a circular highway on-ramp or sometimes while turning at an intersection. The sound oscillates, increasing and decreasing in volume, as if it were related to the wheel spinning. Braking might silence it, but I'm not sure. A different squeak occurs on bumps... I'm not sure if it is related. What could this be?
Another question: I can't determine where on the brakes you're supposed to see the break pad wear. After taking the wheels off, the pads don't seem visible except on the bolt side view which does not show wear.
