This all started when I was starting to have difficulty shifting and I was having grinding going into reverse. Then one day I had terrible trouble getting into reverse and then I almost could not get into 1st at all after that I took it to my local shop. The mechanic and I drove it together and he concluded that the slave and the master cylinders needed to be replaced, he said it wasn't the clutch. After a few says calls and says after replacing the slave and master he said he still could not get the car into gear so he was going to replace the clutch. I wasn't happy about it but with 140k on my baby I thought well what the hell go ahead and replace it. After a week I pick up my car and it was ok going to work but as soon as i left work i almost died on the freeway because I could not get it into any gear so basically it had to be towed back to the shop where it was ready literally a couple hours later saying all he had to do was bleed the system again. So it's been a week and at first I felt like it wasn't going into gear and maybe I was just being too cautious and paranoid but I'm not. About 50% of the time it is still grinding going into reverse and it's definitely not liking going into 1st, a little attitude on 2nd as well. I don't know whether to take her to the dealership and just see what they say, not telling them that the slave, master and clutch have been replaced or take it back to the mechanic. The third time you start to lose a bit of confidence, sadly he came highly recommended. TSX fam.....Please help!!!! I'm sad and worried that my car is just gonna get more and more screwed up

Well for starters a week to do a clutch is absolutely ridiculous, and you should have lost all confidence when they threw a master and slave cylinder at it, from the sounds of it the shop lacks competence.. Driving it with the gears grinding like it is will do internal damage to the transmission, do yourself a favor and just take it to your local dealer and have them look at it and diagnose what is going on with it.

Look up how to bleed a clutch system, grab a buddy and bleed it yourself. These cars are a PITA to get purged and it takes a lot of fluid to get the air out.

Alternatively you can go to the dealer and ask to get your clutch fluid flushed.

I would start there, assuming that all the correct parts were chosen and installed correctly.

Grinding going into reverse is probably the clutch worn out (especially at 140K). The failure mode is the spring plate, so the issue is not the clutch slipping at high torque but rather it's not disengaging fully, so dragging a bit. You notice in reverse because it has no synchro. Might also notice going into 1st while stopped.

It might also be a bad master or slave, in that case usually a couple pumps will make it disengage fully. Check for fluid leaks (the master will leave spots on the floor mat). If doing the clutch, I'd replace the slave at the same time since it's cheap and easy. The master is a PITA, I'd only do that if you have reason to think it's bad.

If you get a new clutch and still have problems, it's probably the motor mounts. The symptom there is rough shifting in intermediate gears at higher throttle since the torque twists the engine against the weak mounts and momentarily messes with shift linkage alignment.
