As I said before, everything old is new again. Not much new ever really comes out that hasn't been tried before.

Case in point, check out these rotating seats in the JDM Accord. A similar seating concept was used here in the US during the mid 70's by GM on their midsize models, specifically the Chevy Malibu and Monte Carlo.

Hmm..interesting... They'd be good here cause of all of our fast food junkies getting bigger and bigger that they can just roll the seat and slide out...instead of burning a couple of calories trying to get out of their car..

My Japanese is a little rusty, but I think that's an optional passenger seat designed for the physically handicapped.
