San Diego Please Help Me! *hit And Run!*

Today I was driving in my girl friend's car. A 97 Green Honda Civic coupe. We were on Telegraph Canyon Rd today (Sunday, 4-3-05) at 7:00PM when she had a hit and run accident. A silver 7th gen Civic side swiped her car and took off. We tired to follow but her car is super slow and the guy almost caused a huge accident when he boned out and blew a red light then a red arrow. We lost him. All I was able to determine was that it was a 01+ Silver Honda Civic with a "5" as the first license plate number (California).

The cops are absolutely NO help since there wasn’t any injuries and my girlfriend doesn’t have collision insurance so she is ****ed money wise. The damage has to be at least a couple thousand dollars worth.

I'm willing to bet that this was some High School student who goes to Eastlake High. I may be wrong, but Id put money on it. If ANYONE knows ANYTHING about this let me know! Even if you see a silver 01+ civic that had front end damage to the drivers side (front bumper, fender, side mirror and possible the driver side door) PLEASE let me know ASAP!
